Re: prop paint method

Nothing keeps props and shafts clean. Using the boat regularly helps. I use cold galvanizing spray paint on shafts and props after a thorough cleaning and prep. If you read the MSDS sheets on marine spay paint for props and shafts it is zinc that is the predominant make up same as generic cold galvanizing paint. It makes cleaning them easier when diving under to clean them monthly.

Propspeed is the most effective anti fouling coating I have ever come across.

Matt, have you done any comparison tests or observations between Propspeed, Prop Gold, and the other release type coatings that have shown up?

Jim
