Urgent Notice


The New Roosevelt Bridge is CLOSED until further notice due to imminent collapse! You pass under this high bridge near the low railroad bridge and Old Roosevelt drawbridge to pass from the Atlantic ICW / ocean to get inland including the Okeechobee waterway and Indiantown. See news article below and chart screenshots.


The southbound lanes are closed AND PASSAGE UNDER THE BRIDGE IS PROHIBITED.

The bridge passes over the St Lucie River, near Stuart and Port St Lucie.

I have a delivery that needs to go under that bridge. So I went to the source.

As of two hours ago USCG Sector Miami told me on a direct phone call, that they were allowing one vessel at a time to go under, with no wake. While I can see the one at a time thing.... not sure I want to linger under there!
