Looks like they have made the decision.
I think one of our members is the only one to get an exemption?

daletournier's crew. Dale is an Australian citizen returning to Australia.

These two nations' decisions read to me as if they haven't a clue of the difficulty of return to Europe or to north America, at this time of year, and show a typical landlubber's concept of cyclone seasons vs. small yachts. But it was ever thus.

Too bad for the cruisers, but it well may be that more requests, stating why they need to stop to reprovision to continue their voyages may be the way.

And maybe, after they're safely back in Oz, Dale could tell us what argument swayed things for his crew. And maybe not, trust their judgment on that one.
