They lost generation but not power if I remember.. and AIS don't suck a lot.. if they remembered to switch everything off.. which I very much doubt.. so yeah.. your likely right..

did they not state they spent 2 days pumping water out manually? I think i read that, so would any remaining power supply at this point be submerged in water.

Well its supposed to be an Offshore rated boat.. so in theory the main hulls should be dry unless compromised.. any water from the rudder shafts etc should not get into the main hulls where the batteries are.. and if anything like the Lagoons they're well above the bilges.
Mind.. it would not surprise me if the wires went through unsealed holes low down instead of over the top of the bulkheads.. in light of all the other flaws reported

There is NOTHING regarding Be Good Too on Aeroyacht and Alpha Yacht web sites.
Boat was handed over to the owners - end of story.
Next one is (or will be) available for charter:

Charter the Alpha 42 catamaran » Aeroyacht LTD

Order your built quickly!
Production slots are limited!

Nothing wrong happened...

The theory is, when something is not working as supposed to and one can be sure why.
The practice is when something is working as supposed to, but one can not be sure why.
The most creative mixing of theory and practice is when nothing is working at all and nobody can be sure WTF ! ! !

Actually if you read that a little closer it sounds like this boat was the one that you would be able to charter. Guessing that's not working out so well.

It was posted on their site only four days ago, so I really doubt it is about "Be Good Too"

Just looked it up looks like it's going to TMM. The boat is called Lucy. Who is delivering that one I wonder? Looks like it's available for winter 2014 and into 2015. So a more reasonable delivery in summer on the east coast with proper time to shake down and a fall delivery to the Caribbean post Hurricane Season. This is pretty much what we do with our new boats coming from the states.

I reckon it should be the same skipper... how else are they going to know good/bad/same comparisons to #1..

Doublewhisky... that made no sense whatsoever to me..

Charter Aeroyacht Alpha 42′ | Sailing Paradise

This is from the site of the company of Mr. Anassis, the builder of the Alpha...

So You are probably right about TMM.

Re: Alpha 42 "Be Good Too" rescue 300 miles off Cape Henry Merged

It just said it was sold to the owner, not delivered. Technically a new as yet to be built boat is sold when you sign the contract because you just bought it. That 2014/2015 winter season charter is still 9 months away.
Somewhere in the Alpha build blog they claim 6 or 8 boats contracted. So good for them. Go Alpha!

Bozeman MT. Maybe you are thinking of my brother Blue Crab. I've got a torn rotator cuff. So no skiing or sailing for me in the near future.

BTW there is a small movement afoot to make the Bozone the site of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Really doubt it.
