Ummmm not to be too harsh but when the hell do I get my 4th star? I feel like I've been stuck with 3 for ages. I even said some dumb stuff that I knew people would yell at me for just to hit my 200th posting. But I guess that wasn't enough.Why does everything to do with boating have to be so difficult?

I will say this: I think people's ratings should match the amount of action they have had on their posts. For example whoever started the Bumfuzzle thread or the Firearms thread should have tons o'stars. Sparking discussion and debate should be rewarded. Eh? Eh? Am I right here, or what?

For those with start envy I think you just send a welcome aboard to every new member who posts and you could get up there right away. Administrators and site helpers should get something special for all the work they do.

I thought we went through this about a year ago with the "Reputation" thingy and it got squashed because it's unworkable and causes more dissention than just a bunch 'o stars for #'s of posts.
