Please advise strategy to effectively search for photos of solar panel arrays on canoe stern vessels. Is manual sifting the "solar panel" search results the only option?

I just highlighted the words above (I put in bold) and searched with that on Google.

--> solar panel arrays on canoe stern vessels - Google Search


About the 7th entry down was this:

But you are still going to have to a lot of sifting.

FIRSTLY: My apologies! I didn't realize that this particular forum was broadcast to all. I thought it was sort of a "ask the moderator" kind of thing.

SECONDLY: I meant specifically how to search Cruisers Forum photos to focus on "solar panels" on vessels with canoe sterns. My bad for being unclear.

Let's hope all of my future mistakes are only this big.

To search on Cruisers Forum, use the custom search (see attachment).

That should get you what you need. But, if you'd like to learn more, read on...

Details: There are two search on here. One is the search function provided by the bulletin board software. It appears several places in the interface. However, it doesn't work very well. Indeed, it is almost useless. However, they can't turn it off. So, use the custom one they wrote, instead.

If you are in Google and want to search, you can get exactly the same results as the custom search by appending a command to your search. Like this:

solar panels canoe stern site:www.cruisersforum.com

Now, it's easier to use the CF custom search, but you might find the above trick handy when wanting to search other sites.
