Lagoon 380 S2 Do It Yourself Upgrades

Saw some great input regarding the pros and cons of the Lagoon 380 from some clearly experienced cruisers who know how to maintain a boat. If you were buying a brand new Lagoon 380 S2, what "do it yourself" upgrades would you do to the boat, i.e. reinforce the engine hatches and anchor locker hatch or put finger holes in the engine cover panels, etc.

Also, did you ever have any water damage to the shower panels in the owner's shower? They appear to be veneered fiber board with no caulking at the seams that would prevent water intrusion. Seems like a design flaw.

Advice is welcome,

Kindly,
