Why bother with messy fiberglass? This dink I designed and finished in less than 60 hours. Features common 1/4 ply (a/c) sides, less than one sheet , 3/8 “ bottom less than 1 sheet, 1’by 2’ chines and gunnels and 5/4” bow and stern, all pine. Glued with gorilla and screwed construction. Painted with oil based products. Carries 5 adults and groceries. Was equipped with 2 stroke 15 horse motor. Never leaked, in service for more than 8 years. Was beached on every kind of surface, ideally doggy received at least 2 walks per day.
