Catamaran sea time ?

Hello everyone!

I am looking to log some sea time on a catamaran. Nothing against monohulls but my long term plans have me owning, and living aboard a multihull - (the wife enjoys the extra space and stability ).

I started my love for sailing in Seward, Alaska on Resurrection Bay where I took 101/103. And just recently finished 104/114 here in San Diego. I live in Gilbert, AZ but work remote often so my schedule can be flexible.

I am a 47 year old father, husband, and business professional with a good amount of humility and love the water! I am also quite handy and mechanical. I have built a home, remodeled one entirely doing almost all of the work myself, and made many many engine/car repairs over the years. I hope to some day have enough time logged to go for a USCG license.

If you have a few days in mind, or even a trip up (or down) the coast and need an extra hand to do some grinding, cleaning, etc. drop me a message and see if the schedules might align!

Thank you!

Contact delivery companies. St Bart’s yachts in Charleston and reliance in England come to mind. They are sending catamarans all over the place.

Re: Catamaran sea time ?

Hello, My name is Lilly out of San Diego Ca.
My boyfriend Barry and I were to take out a Lagoon 400 S2 out of La Paz on 8-31-19 to 9-21-19 Its a 3+2 cabin with 3 Heads.
Something came up for me and he needs a second in order to take out the boat.
He is a tall tan smart excellent physical shape 73 y/o guy who is a pilot and has done monohulls and cats all over the world. Owns his own machine shop. Neat guy.
You both would be doing your own cooking...
It would be out of La Paz sailing north and back over 3 weeks, for snorkel, scuba, etc, some fish trolling. Is this of any interest?
My name is Lilly 619-235-9441 What is yours?

Re: Catamaran sea time ?

Hello Lilly Fluger. My name is Joe from Ct. East Coast. I just ran across your dilemma with having your husband being unable to take the Cat for a 3 week sail. My wife and I are scuba divers who love sailing and we are very handy. Although we are retired, and we can not lend your husband a hand at this time, we would like to be considered for any such future sail. Maybe if your husband has an alternate time of sail, we would love to hear from you. You can reach me at 860-384-0536 if you like to plan an enjoyable and safe alternative sailing trip. Ps. Best wishes to you and your husband. JT
