Crew Wanted: Annapolis to Marsh Harbour, Abacos delivery

This year I have one definite and two probable crew for our delivery to the Abacos. I like 5 offshore because it gives us two on a watch so I will have room for at least one additional. More if probables bail.

here is the rough schedule:

11/3-4 Push off from the docks in Annapolis

11/5-6 Leave the Chesapeake Bay

11/10-12 Arrive in the Abacos

11/13-14 Fly back Home

Schedule & route are always weather dependent. Some diving when we get down there will definitely part of the plan

Captain pays the onboard expenses only. Travel home, meals ashore, diving and personal expenses are on the crew member.

Sailing and offshore experience is helpful but not mandatory. I’m more concerned with attitude, flexibility & compatibility. Must have your own personal safety gear. No smoking or drinking underway.

Irish Rover is a 2012 Fountaine Pajot Lipari. Owners Version. We have a life raft, EPIRB, DeLorme InReach, jacklines, all safety equipment. This will be our ninth trip between Bahamas/Florida-Annapolis.

I can see why you might be happiest alone. Please stay home

actually, my response was directed not to you but to those looking to "gain experience" and not having any clue what 200-300 miles offshore may look like. especially on a small light boat in november with no place of your own to get a good sleep.

so, instead of being a smart a.. telling me where to stay - why wouldn't you be our hero - lead by example, take that front cabin...
