Yacht listing website like Craigslist for Mexico?

I'm planning to drive my motorhome from New Mexico to San Diego then down to Mexico in hoping to trade it for $13K plus cash for a displacement or semi hull power cruiser or a trawler. Here's my craigslist post without success:

I heard there's a lot of boats that price low in Mexico because cruisers don't want to drive their boat back to the U.S. And I want to buy a boat in Mexico because it's going to be my cruising ground for a while. I've looked on Craigslist but don't know what part of Mexico that have boats for sale. My search criteria of 39' to 50' up to $50K on Yachtworld and only a couple boats came up. My impression is that not many boats for sale in Mexico. Am I right?
I'd appreciate any link to the boat listing. This is gonna be my first boat and no experience in boating of any kind.

Is there place like Walmart or Home Depot to park my 34' motorhome overnight in Mexico. Any security risk on the West Coast of Mexico?

There are boats everywhere for sale in Mexico. How are you searching Yacht World? I suspect your search parameters are off. Try being less specific on your initial search and narrowing the initial search under advanced options.

Unless you find somebody that's tired of sailing yet still wants to travel (possible, but not likely) you're best off to sell the MH and purchase with cash.

mazatlan yachts--there are 4 locations. ray owns it and has over 150 boats for sale. san carlos, mazatlan, la paz and puerto vallarta.
he is currently residing in mazatlan. might wanna start here. there are 2 reasonable catamarans and many monohulls and a pricey catamaran. those are here in mazatlan.
on the hard in guaymas are boats needing new homes, as well. try it.. you will not find decent deals in yachtworld or other sites.
you MUST be here to find boats.
and we ALL know craigs list to be fraud addled and useless.
as for parking of motorhomes--there is a motorhome parknot far from centro mazatlan. i donot know exactly where or what the name is--but there is at least one.
west coast mexico is safe as long as you donot drive after dark(prime rule of driving in mexico has not changed) and stay on the well travelled roads.

Lat time I looked (not today) Craigslist had listings for various Mexican locations. Did you check them or post your listing in any? There are big box stores in Mexico in most of the larger cities, with parking lots, but I have no clue about overnights. I would be surprised if motorhomes were considered desirable, but perhaps with the proper incentives? Likewise I have no clue about the value or desirability of your motorhome.

I have been told and read It is next to impossible to sell an American titled vehicle in Mexico .How does a person sell or trade an American titled vehicle in Mexico ? Will Mexico laws approve ?

(the intelligent mexican folks i chat with are relieved the corrupt thing without conscience did NOT win. the repercussions would have been disastrous.

mexicans neither like nor dislike usa. they tolerate others as income is gained ftom turismo.
they generally LAUGH at the corruption and political antics comparing the levels of corruption and being thankful the alternative did not occur.
for the most part, usa does not intrude into their daily thoughts. murikuns are arrogant and presumptuous in thinking their importance is so great.
most mexicans i know are ambivalent to sneakily disrespecting of gringos because of this trait.
tourists are safe in mexico as long as they conform to laws and practices.
remember, here, pale means MONEY. income is protected. they aint stoopit.

Advertise it in Mexico as for sale in the US. If the market is there, its availability in a border city such as San Diego, would draw interest from both states in Baja, as well as on the eastern coat of the Sea of Cortez. The US as well. If the market is not there or the price is too high, it may not sell anywhere.
