Spectra 200T 12V Automated Watermaker with Z-Brane

This is a working Spectra Ventura 200T 12V fully automated watermaker with Z-Brane membrane preserver.

It had its Clark Pump professionally rebuilt by Spectra, and has only ~50hrs of run time since rebuild. It also has a new membrane with ~50hrs of run time on it. The membrane has been preserved by regular fresh water flushing since layup.

The system is fully automated with remote control of stop, start, flush, scheduled flushing, and other functions. It also has remote monitoring of pump pressures, water quality, water production rate, and filter quality. Besides the ability to automatically flush on a schedule, it has the Z-Brane membrane preservative, which uses ions to keep the membrane fresh during storage.

Included is the complete system as seen in the pictures: the Clark Pump and membrane, the Z-Brane unit, the main control box, the remote control and monitor panel, the feed pump and diverter controller, the prefilter housing, the accumulator tank, the carbon filter housing, all connecting hoses, pipes, gauges, and sensors, and several spares. Operating and service manual too, of course.

All that is necessary for an installation would be electrical wires connecting the watermaker to a 12V source, intake plumbing to a thruhull, waste output plumbing overboard, and a product water line to your tank.

The system control board is not working correctly. It will not turn off the watermaker. Otherwise, the watermaker works perfectly, and all of the remote monitoring, flushing, and controls function except for on/off. This is a recent development, and we have been using it by simply turning it on and off manually when we want to run it. There are a series of relays on the board, and I think the one that controls on/off is not working. A new board costs ~$700 from Spectra.

Otherwise, the system meets water production and quality specs. It is currently commissioned and operating in the Tampa Florida area, and can be seen there. In the next month or two, it will be decommissioned and disconnected.

The reason for selling is we are installing a larger capacity watermaker to better meet our needs.

$3,500 +shipping. The unit is located in Bradenton, Florida USA. Best to contact me by email.
