Want To Buy: Datamarine Corinthian II wind speed masthead unit

I am looking for a Datamarine Corinthian II wind speed indicator masthead unit. The one I have needs to be rebuilt or replaced, so i am looking for one that can be rebuilt or is in good shape to swap mine out. Boat is located in Connecticut, and that is where I would need the masthead unit set.

I am not sure if this post is still current, but if you are still looking for help on your Datamarine unit... call these guys. They are super helpful and great, the are the Datamarine support and do rebuilds and stuff. DMI Marine, Inc.

Sorry to be negitive, but I contacted those folks once. It was less money to get the last NMEA 2000 garmin unit then have one thing fixed by them. Very overpriced.

That is too bad! We were looking at buying a wind gauge and found it to be too expensive for us, so I can understand that. They were a bit helpful with a few questions I had trying understand the Datamarine systems. There is not much out there on the internet about them that I can find.

I do know that Datamarine made two different masthead wind units, and you have to get the right one.

DMI is the way to go. I previously had them send to me in Australia new circuitry fro my mast head unit, worked great for 2 years until it fell out across bass straight!
I am now in need of a new masthead unit as after removing mine to get it repaired, I (wife) somehow lost it between the boat and the car! DMI want $750 plus shipping for a new one, so that wont happen, unless I can find one lying in a carpark somewhere.
I will probably replace with a modern one.
So anyone need the beautiful round cockpit dial, you just need to find a masthead unit!

Thanks saliorsrus but I managed to find one here in my town in Sydney, gave to free as his dog took a big bit out of me as it tried t kill me! Bitter sweet.
