Some discuss 2V Batteries. Why? As for my understanding 2V is one cell on 12V Batteries. So do 2V Batteries have only one cell? And why is it better to have 6x2V instead of on 12V Accu?

conclusion:
we need a charging computer between the solar (mine is 6 to 16Amps) and AC chargers to monitor and regulate charging between say 95% and 50% to keep cycles low. Did not find a solution...

I am talking about common 12v car batteries :

just for all and out of common experience: if one old battery is done and you replace it be prepaired to replace all others within a short period as they will give up soon.

Ummm.... yes, AGMs have life cycles (our oldest bank of AGMs is finally going down the tubes, at the end of 11 seasons)...

Well it is said thst AGM's have about 1000 to 1200 recharging cycles....

Don't think it it worth the money but you should use cyrix-ct, your solar panel to keep the banks charged. With 50A max solar charging the system is perfect. Just keep one light on board always lit...

Almost all electric units work between 13,8V (fully charged) and 11V. It makes no sense to use batteries that can be discharged down to 2V.

Therefore my choices are cheap 12V 225Ah AGM Truck...
