cwjohn is correct, of course, re: depreciation. A new boat will cost much less to maintain (certainly for the first 5-7 years), but it will suffer much more depreciation. Suijin is also correct that... |

Scarlet, those who use the 10% figure do not include docking/storage on the hard as they are not maintenance costs. An annual haul-out for anti-fouling etc., would be included. Please keep in mind... |
