You could always just stick a "dorm fridge" or Engel so the door faces that escape hatch. :)

Measured the actual bridge deck clearances on the 10M:

48 inches (4 ft) at the bow

24 inches (2ft) at the stern

This explains why if I slam, I feel it under my feet in the cockpit waaaay...
