Point of fact: Human viruses do not and cannot live in seawater. E. Coil cannot live or survive for any length of time in seawater due to salinity and temperature. Look it up.

I assume you mean, replacing then re-tasking the available new tank. It's never a good idea to convert an existing black water tank over for fresh water storage. Wrong on many levels.

Using a macerating toilet then mixing the waste with seawater (salt water), which is exactly what we do, renders the waste harmless. Kills the bacteria and viruses.

You are very wrong about human pathogens, except for Cholera I believe, the pathogens can't survive even for a couple of minutes in salt water; which is why most cities through the world dump raw...

We've never used our holding tank, but I wouldn't convert it into a diesel tank. It's too small to make any difference.
