I paid top dollar, got multiple gas recognition.
That was three years ago. Change the batteries every 6 months and test seriously often.

Yep. Turn on oxy-acetylene gas torches. Set the controls nicely. Now back the oxy off and the orange starts to appear, eventually no no oxy, no blue flame and heaps of uncombusted acetylene/air...

I suspect that very few cruising vessels are big enough to carry generators capable of supplying sufficient energy for cooking.
Fossil fuel cooking is the only way for people with small boats.
