Seeing as how this thread has been revived....

We had a 1/2 pt. tin of water based bottom paint for our forward looking depth sounder's transducer, who had recommended not to use regular bottom...

As to bottom paint, if you've come across some very old stuff, contact the manufacturer. Formulatins have changed a lot over the years, and...
