Your engine cooling is plumbed correctly. The rubber vane pumps are not completely one-way. Water can get past the vanes even if the pump is not turning. So it’s critical that the anti-siphon work... |

The duckbill is not going to help this. Think about what is happening and you can see the problem. The pump is trying to suck seawater up and over the loop. But the duckbill is designed to let air in... |
