Somebody please check my math here but it should just take about 750 watts to raise five gallons of 60 degree water to 120 degrees. >BTU needed to raise 1 gallon of water by 1 degree = 8.33 BTU ... |

THat second system looks appealing... its purpose built instead of using the back of a PV panel. You could make your own. |
