We got a 30hp for it, but even with our spare 18hp [don't ask - my other half likes fast rides] we plane no problem with 3 people. 4 people and 30hp plane as well, haven't tried 4 people and 18hp....

Having a fast dinghy for us means that we can anchor in a sheltered spot, take the dinghy out to explore all the interesting places, snorkel, catch fish, and still get back before the winds turn.
