Assuming the twisting is like this which has never been a problem for us. Wind changes, flags twists the 2 lines etc. the flag still lowers and untwist no problem.. 118846 |

Our method - a knot in the end of the halyard where it's tied. Slip the loop over the knot and hitch the lower line. Fast and easy and haven't lost a flag yet ... 117737 |
