You might as well leave the dink setup with the motor and use an inexpensive electric winch. No sense Mickey Mouse-ing rigging the davit--not for something you feel you'll use all the time.

Congratulations on a very nice boat.

If you intend to harbor hop and sight-see, the dink might be helpful. But if you intend to run 24/7, leave it home and enjoy the sail.
