I still think the easiest way to determine the two is that a Yawl has the Mizzen on the transome hanging out the back of the boat and a Mizzen has it further forward with the sail reaching towards...

I'm struggling to picture this :flowers: ok, I know what the water line is, but I really don't know how the mizzen can be inside it or outside it? Especialy 'outside' the water line?

If you want to be picky they could be, but to me they look closer to ketch's. The mizzen is not back on the transom and possibly not rear of the rudder. And at least in the bottom one the mizzen is...

It's nothing I planned. Mine just came up for a good price so I grabbed it. I've not learnt to use the mizzen properly yet, but I hope to soon. It needed some work.
