Almost. I have found that Mapc2mapc doesn't quite translate the projection correctly.. the author is looking into it.

SeaClear showed the chart at about 10 degrees South ... so 20 degrees north...

Thanks for coming back to me. I just downloaded and tried SeaClear (will be deleting it again shortly!). It loaded the chart, at first I thought it was all black but then realised that it was loaded...

I've come back to Map2kap after some time. I used it successfully in the past but not this time.

I have everything set up as in your post above with fresh installs of everything.

Thanks for that, it works great.

I had to make a small change to run it on windows 7. I had to add .exe to imgkap in line 514 which becomes

if system("imgkap.exe #{opts}...
