There is no such thing as a CO fire detector. There are fire detectors (principle of detection : smoke), CO detectors, and there are some combination detectors, which are simply both in one box. |

A CO detector really is essential on a boat. Mine is wired to the same breaker as the propane solenoid, so you can't have propane on without the CO alarm. On one occasion it went off from the fumes... |
