Indeed a difficult and expensive repair. Furthermore hard to see the damage because of the grid and with the repair costs being so destructive of the economics of operating an old charter boat there...

It was almost expected. All that talk of previous groundings and probable bodged repairs, including in the MAIB report. No surprise if it turns out to be true. Just one witness statement or email...
