The HPBMS is my insurance policy. I did not turn off shunt balancing because my system never gets to that voltage... HVC cuts me off at 14.2V but I also never even get there... |

High & Low Voltage Disconnect Levels HVC = 14.2V LVC = 11.6V EMERGENCY Bank Disconnect High = 15V / 3.75VPC Low = 10.4 / 2.6VPC |

The HP BMS is alarming at 14.2V and is also HVC'ing at 14.2V because you simply do not need nor want to charge any higher than that. It is trying to tell you something and is specifically designed... |

Consider that with this type of BMS it almost always an all or nothing cut. You go out on low voltage you lose everything even the ability to charge. You go out on high voltage and you also lose... |
