Dave,

I checked the part with a VOM and the Amphenol drawing is correct and not the picture showing the connection. You are suggesting that I definitely ground pin 5? Thanks.

The drawing definitely shows the 5 pin in the upper row while the picture looks as though the wire is connected to the lower row.

I have been using OpenCPN for a couple years and now intend to install GRadar. Can anyone explain why the photo I found on the forum does not seem to agree with the Amphenol spec sheet for pin 5? ...
