it's no problem for me as it's not a vital function and a fix in 2 months it would be fine.

is clear that heading and cog are different with still boat, but my question is what nmea sentence is used by OCPN to point the boat icon. I have an HDG sentence from the autopilot...

I have on NMEA the HDG message and OpenCpn 3.2.0 is not showing the boat heading but just the COG (see attached printscreen), even when the boat is still and COG is completely ...
