its 99% sand. I can go through at dead low tide ( we draw 5.6") and sometimes kiss the bottom. Never got stuck in the marked channel

Just a note there is no longer a channel marker outside the entrance of Tashmoo. So don't look for it!

Always found a spot, been anchoring there for over 10 years. many times very full. but always found a spot

not a problem. might kiss the bottom if not at high tide. look at my other post above for more details about the pond

we go to tashmoo very often. We just came back yesterday. Tide range is not that much (maybe 1.5' either direction, give or take)... but it makes a difference!

Our 5' 6" draft is fine. On low tide...
