Assuming we have about the same sail area all the rigging in a ketch is smaller,lighter, shorter and cheaper.. so there's no extra cost.

True in your case, with stern cabin and high cockpit. That's not a typical ketch deck IMHO

As I understood the "nonstop" requirement means a few things to consider.
You can't count on weather windows so your boat must be seaworthy beyond any B's (no fence)
You must have enough room and...
