I politely disagree. They certainly feel more gentle and provide more dryer-comfy rides. But there are many times when you need to "fight" the boat or one of its systems, that make a smaller boat... |

Your question is relative to rate of drift and whether or not you have a lee shore. rate of drift could be two to three knots even more depending on conditions, hull design etc. plot your course... |

Maneuverability will still come down to the design of the boat. Long keel vs short keel. Deep v hull vs flat planing hull. Left or Right hand Prop Walk. Freeboard windage. There are so many... |
