Isn't Known issues in the 3.2 release. | Official OpenCPN Homepage (https://opencpn.org/ocpn/known_issues) linked from the very top of the download page enough?

The magnetic heading is taken from HDG, HDM or VHW sentences in the dashboard. None of them is present in your stream, so you get no heading information.

Could you show us the NMEA stream that gets to OpenCPN from your AIS, please?

I will change the lat display in the dashboard as well when I will be doing some changes to it next time....
