Thanks guys for all the feedback. The engine has been comfirmed as a Mitsubishi. The corrugated washers are indeed heat shields, and my injectors were very sad,; squirting instead of atomising. Thank...

Many Thanks, Blue Stocking. My Westerbeke is in my O'Day 40, 1750 hrs, but is hard starting although the preheats seem fine. I am assuming the injectors are dripping so intend having them rebuilt....

Hi, Does anyone know what engine a 1985 Westerbeke W46 is based on ? Is it a Perkins 4-108? I am looking for tech info to rebuild the diesel injectors. Many thanks .
