I have an SPX10 autopilot and had the same issue. The SPX track feature requires magnetic variation. My RMC sentence was missing the magnetic variation field because my GPS (BU353 puck)...

On smaller netbook screens vertical space is limited (600 pixels). It would be nice to turn the Status Bar off but duplicate the info on the dashboard plugin. Adding a "bearing/distance to cursor...
