The B/yard quoted £13,000 for a full repair.. I got £5000...
The yard repaired the hull/deck join and vertical split.. fitted the toe rail... the rest I did myself.

but reality is if there's **** to dump.. dump it onto the weakest...:whistling:

Yup... I could have stayed on deck till they were past my stern... but I went below when they were 1/4 mile off and clearly going to miss me... between slicing cheese, toms and bread I stuck my head...

Oh yeah... and they were on course to pass astern...
who knew they had remote steering and would alter course without looking ahead..:whistling:

Its what in the Marina contract that matters... not state legislation.

You may.. if very lucky get 50% of your claim..
But... the arguement will be... why were you in a marina uninsured when (in all legal probability) the marina is supposed to enforce an 'insured boats...
