sure...you can use distilled water vs just chlorine free water to mix your 50% strength PG mixture...but distilled water ain't available everywhere and it don't really matter. So I try to not make... |

2 gallons of PG and 2 gallons of chlorine free water....suck it in and your are done. |

Not to pile on with Tellie.....but PG is a great pickling reagent as long as it is in a concentration above 24%. We recommend staying above 50% because...well...why not, it's cheap and easy. Below... |

Bingo I carry that at my shop in La Paz....works great at 50% dilution with chlorine free water! |

Absolutely....PG (Propylene Glycol) is an excellent pickling/layup chemical for a Powersurvivor 35, Cruise RO, Spectra, Echotech, you get the point. |

MOST DON'T.... Most are simply biocides that kill the bacteria, plankton, and algae. If you want to both pickle your water maker AND protect it from freezing then you should be use a Good alcohol... |
