We used the Gas unit.
It wasn't quite by any means, but we did fills in the afternoon and announced over the radio to the anchorage that if the noise offended anyone to bring their tanks over and I...

We cruised with a MaxAir 35 Dive compressor and used it weekly...loved it, but we also had two kids and spent more time in the water than most people's anchor.

The Pacific Mexico Guide refers to Pacific Mexico Mainland, not the Pacific side of Baja....

It's why I always got the heck out of the Sea of Cortez and headed for Mainland Mexico...

Oh it happens EVERY DAY....
San Carlos/Guymas is known in the SOC cruising community as the place where Dreams go to die. The dream turned nightmare, but those folks are not as quick to post about...

You don't really on the Baja Side, if your cup or tea is the green jungle you may just want to stay on the mainland side and do a big hop from Topolobampo to Maz and then you are in green jungle land...

You gotta have this guide book which was written by cruisers and is the go to authority (at least in my opinion)
It will layout most of the great anchorages along the way and most people cross over...

It is freezing in the Sea of Cortez in the winter.....
So the solution is to cross over to the mainland and sweat until your hearts content. We made a point to try and get out of the sea right...
