Wow. I wonder how common this is and whether people who do this cop a whack? I too have my boat listed on the Australian Register of Ships, however my bravery would not extend to letting state...

Did you manage that by advising the Australian Electoral Commission that you were leaving Australia, or by some other method?

The boat is actually QLD reg'd, and I have marina invoices coming out of my wazoo because it is in a charter fleet already. The mailing address for the rego is a PO box addressed care of the charter...
