Purchase a hand held infrared temperture sensor.

I find them extremely useful for diagnosing heat/cooling problems.

Take the hose off where it goes into the elbow. Put it in a bucket (5 gallon)and observe the rate of flow. 18 GPM should fill it in 20 seconds or...

Have you checked the flow where the water goes into the exhaust elbow?

I just replaced a Ford-Lehman elbow.....the Injection line was corroded/scaled so much that a pencil barely made it...
