The "green blob" should be more than enough of a hint telling you to zoom in and look more closely and if there is any doubt, avoid.

I just bought a 2nd MFD unit in my boat. Does that make me twice as likely to run aground now? :D

There's nothing wrong with chart plotters, there's nothing more wrong with the charts on them...
