Artif... That is why I never just solder, I crimp! It in no way relies on solder to remain connected electrically, or mechanically. Now, after I make a proper crimp, I heat only the eye part... |

In my business as well as my own boat, I would only consider the highest quality double jacketed, finely stranded, tinned copper wire. (usually a size larger than I could get away with, for the least... |
