Yes... the problem is always the many temptations of the Azores. Great people, great food, decent weather, mildly expensive marinas and availability of white malvasia port ...

How many days on the water was it for you?

I am asking as my clients are approaching Gibraltar I think it will be about 31 days for them from Puerto Rico (non-stop). Had to send them...

Yep. Well done.

A BIG ONE started building up as you sailed on. At a point it was like nearly 1040mb and bang on between you and Horta. Arghhh ;-) Nice summer weather just when you do not want it...

At this point (midnight Friday on Satuday) the tropical area is clear, the analysis shows a possibly re-building High and the 4 day NOAA shows High to be 1028 just SW off the Azores.
