Ay ay Sir!

That mechanism used for full screen Apps is a generic Android feature. Possibly one that can be used in the build to get best / max screen area for the chart.

It is a generic Android thing but I am not sure which Android version it came with.

OK.

Is this what you want? (view attached image)

You can see all of the bars at once now.

The status bar has very wee font. Probably can be sorted out by playing around with the toggles.

No chart bar (on some Android 4.1.2 machines) SOLVED.

Download any "full screen enabler" App from Play.

No no no: gentle people - PLS no copying of imagination artefacts from Windows and Linux to mobile devices.

If I were to have my way, I would love to see something like this:

- one tap: icons on, (no menu bar)
- another tap: menu bar on, (icons gone)
- another tap: no icons, no bars, just the chart,...

I think I have seen Apps on Play that pick up ftdi and forward the stream to TCP.

Then AOCPN could pick up the stream from TCP.

But I am assuming ftdi which is not the case with USB gps, only...

Seems like the other 4.1.2. reported above.

screen measurement off by about 10 mm (153 vs 162)

on BSB night/day view does not work: only menu bar changes...
