That was a fantastic post - thank you. And yes, it is still a confusing and difficult decision, but you had many great points. I didn't even think about a BVI power charter as a test. Good idea.

We have been sailing only for 7 years now, the last 5 on our 44 ft sailboat.
We love hanging out at anchor after a nice destination sail. However, the wife does not enjoy 5- 6 hours of sometimes...
