Florida is $73, most of the dozen states I just checked were between there and $300. Outlier states were $20 (MN) and $1100 (WA)

I argued earlier that foreign dinghies could potentially be forced to register with states. However, a review of this section forced me to change my mind and conclude they are technically exempt.

Many Americans have their boat registered in a different state than they live in, including me. Your cruisers permit covers you as far as the Federal government and some people in this thread believe...

The jpg stating foreign boats are exempt applies to safety equipment, that's what the "chapter" in that section refers to. The information about state registration is in a different chapter.

I just spent two hours researching this, including the citations provided by BoatPoker, and was unable to find any evidence of special exemption for foreign vessels beyond the 60-90 day grace period...
