Check the glow plug contact areas. The bridging bar is aluminum, connected to the glow plug heads with the little knurled thumb wheels, these contact areas need to be clean. Also check the heating...

The W46 is based on a Mitsubishi 127 cu in engine.
Marine Gear in Ft Lauderdale, and www.torresen .com are good sources.
My W46 is 30yrs old, 2100 hrs and runs sweetly.
