Yes to Odyssey, Enersys pioneered AGM for deep cycle usage back in the day.

Make a fine product, to the point that even their "dual use" batts are excellent for deep cycling.

I agree the new starting-point capacity should be much more than you need if lead, unless you're planning on routinely buying a new one on schedule every 8-18 months.

Or go LFP, a third the size...

The Optimas svck since Enersys sold the brand off to Johnson Controls, definitely not good value anymore.

But of course they will start an engine

Fact is, cranking an engine is just not a challenge, many ways to go, all will work fine.

Only those looking for "the best" way (for their situation) make the question interesting.

Bingo! Great choice, at the other end of the cost spectrum.

Note this is not designed for deep-cycling, but for high-CCA cranking of smaller engines.

Lifeline and Northstar are also great AGM...

"Smallest possible" and "reliably" are in opposition, unless you have the gear and knowledge to closely monitor declining state of health to eliminate unexpected failure.
